We all have a stake in ethics and public policy issues related to the biological sciences, whether the issue at hand is protecting the privacy of our genetic information, or determining end-of-life procedures for ourselves or a loved one, or deciding whether we want to eat genetically altered food.

This is a major national meeting of philosophers and scientists focusing on ethical issues surrounding energy production and use and their environmental consequences.
