Lego Building Blocks Are scientists born or made?

Nearly all children are born with a natural curiosity about the world around them and a desire and ability to explore and learn. But in today’s world, after centuries of accumulated scientific discovery and technological advancement, it is difficult to imagine a child succeeding in science without encouragement, mentoring, and training.

If EPSCoR’s goal of stimulating research and economic development in biotechnology in Delaware is to be achieved, we will need a growing number of people capable of working in scientific, technological, and engineering fields. Education is the key that will unlock these opportunities for more and more people.

Microbial Research at the University of Delaware
