As part of a continuing, comprehensive program evaluation strategy, the Delaware EPSCoR has teamed with the AAAS Research Competitiveness Program to provide a periodic review of the progress and the impact of the EPSCoR program on the statewide Network. The External Review Panel comprised of national experts in relevant areas conducts the review with support by AAAS and submits a written report to EPSCoR leadership.

The AAAS Review Panel visits Delaware on an annual basis and meets with researchers and leaders at the participating institutions to review progress toward institutional and network goals, and recommend improvements to further enhance the program success.

The Members of the AAAS EPSCoR External Review Panel are:

• Dr. Chris D'Elia, Professor of Environmental Science and Policy, Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and graduate Studies, University of South Florida.
• Dr. Lyn Jelinski, President Sunshine Consultants International, Inc.
• Dr. Bernie May, Professor of Animal Science , Director of the Genomic Variation Laboratory, University of California, Davis.
• Dr. Paul Tchounwou, Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Biology Department, Deputy Director of the NOH - Center for Environmental Health, Jackson State University
• Dr. Maria Vassileva ,Senior Program Associate, AAAS Research Competitiveness Service
